"Rewilding is not about abandoning civilization but about enhancing it. It is to ‘love not man the less, but Nature more’.” - George Monbiot’s book; Feral: Rewilding the Land, Sea and Human Life.

I wonder what would happen
if we would return to an original, uncultivated, wild state.
Liberated from our self-created isolation from the natural world.
The process of human rewilding.

Through the art I make, I explore ways of ‘being’ in our world.
I strive for a constantly growing relationship with the organic world.
Where humans learn from existing natural principles
without trying to control them.

Most of the works I make are site-specific, and all are transient.
After I borrow the materials from Mother Nature to create a work,
they either stay or go back into the natural cycle of decay
so that my footprint is as small as possible.

I work in co-creation with Mother Nature and her natural elements.
Together we experience and make sculptures,
videos, texts, installations, and conceptual works
in which I try to connect with Her as closely as possible.

I see my body as a vessel to let Mother Earth speak.
