Heartfelt Risk

Love, particularly friendship, comes with sacrifice. Perhaps an uncomfortable truth, but one we all need to face, sooner or later. And for the hero of my comic, his came sooner than wished for.
This comic of mine is based on the story of Jonathan in the Bible, who had to stand up to the king of the land, his father, to have a chance at saving his friend, whom his father wanted eliminated out of jealousy and fear. Would you risk going against the kingdom and your family if it meant saving your friend? That is the question this digital 2D comic poses to its reader through its simplified color palette and storytelling panels.
