The mourning of Bahudin by Chantal Scheffers.

With this project, I wanted to help someone process their grief. Grief is something that a lot of people go through and is experienced as a heavy and personal process. From my own experience, I find that it helps to give this grief a physical place.

So for this project, I worked with Chantal to help her with the grief of her husband, Bahudin. In our conversation, she shared how her husband loved fireworks and how their three children are the highlights of their relationship. Her children really helped her in this process of grief. This is how I came up with my design. The three points where the lead lines gather represent her three children, and the lines are the fireworks which represent her husband. The colour represents her time of grief. She said that she associates that time with grey colours.
